What Color Carpet And Paint Will Complement A Bottle Green Sofa?

I have a very big and light living room with wooden ceiling. Can anyone suggest a good carpet colour?

    This site can help you:http://www.sherwin-williams.com/visualiz…
Click on the “Explore Interior Colors” box (on the left). Then scroll until you find a shade of green similar to your sofa. Click on that color and the site will offer you 2 accent colors…one for your walls and one for your carpet.
Or you could use one color for both your walls and your carpet, and the other for an accent color (throw pillows, curtains, vases, etc.)

The paint color I love is called “Greystone” by Kelly Moore. It’s named after a European castle & is more of a beige/tan tone — not gray. Often you can have the same color mixed at a different paint store like Sherman Williams. The color goes with everything & takes on different look depending on the lighting & colors in the room. Our contractor uses it in the custom homes he builds & I painted the whole inside & outside that color. I also have a large living room & a green sofa &greystone paint color goes perfect. As for carpet, I would pick a beige/tan tone that would go with your wall paint. Very neutral and you can pick up accent colors in your throw pillows, drapes, decorations, etc.

I would go with a neutral (cream or ivory) colored carpet and maybe leather brown walls with a cream or ivory trim. Since your couch is not a neutral, you may want to keep the colors surrounding it neutral to keep the room toned down.

Go to the grocery store and look for raw sugar. I would get the carpeting as close to that color as possible. It is a warm and inviting light and pleasing carmel color. Good Luck.

i’d say tan or something neutral for carpet..if u have a big living room, u dont want something too overwhelming. for walls, depends how you want the feel of ur room to be. (fun, sophisticated, chill…) maybe a brown, white-ish, blue…

I would suggest a white, beige, or other neutral tone for the carpet. For your walls, I would suggest a light gray, possibly with a greenish tint to it.

brown to anchor the room. Also black goes w/ green. Earth tone brown or black or dark grey.
