How Do I Get 2 Way Tape Off My Carpet?

i used 2 way tape to try and keep a area rug from slipping around but now it wont stick to the rug anymore ….and i cant get it up from my new living room carpet.

    you need a high output heat gun. and a spatula type tool, first get the rug moist with water(not to much) then apply heat and lift very slowly..

    wd-40 test in a closet first to make sure it doesnt stain the carpet. then spray a little at a time to remove the tape. the adhesive remover can be removed with papertowel afterwards. wd also removes chewing gum, starts wet enginges,frees rusted bolts, etc they have a web site that tells you the facts. i dont know it but try wd40.com

    Try putting down a towel over top of it and setting your iron on high and running the iron over the towel where the tape is.
