Cost Of Just Putting Walls And Carpet In A Basement?
How much would it cost to put new walls and carpet in my basement? Im not sure how big the basement is so how much would the average cost of new walls and carpet be?

I am doing my basement now and it is a 1750 sq ft basement. TO do the lumber for the walls and the sheet rock and the eletrical and low voltage and the painint and the carpet adn the lighting will cost me about $15,000 and I am doing ALL the work myself! And there is not much in the way of fancy stuff going in my basement. Just 5 rooms.
So that doesn’t include labor…
EDIT: Not sure howe Matt came up with the random number of $3,000 without knowing the size of your basement.

the walls is based on square footage,around $15.00/sq.ft.
plus as specified $3,000.00
this should cover-wall framing,door,electrial,panaled walls,trim,ceiling,-/12 inch x 24-inch ceiling tiles,carpet
cleanup
measure lenght times width to get square feet,& then times $15.00/sq ft this and estimate……………good luck!!
