How Do You Get Silly Putty Out Of Berber Carpet?

I have a blug of silly putty about the size of a half-dollar stuck in my berber carpet. Any home remedies?

I think you can put an ice cube on it to freeze it and then pull it off.

I would go to radio shack and buy a can of frost (it’s used in electronic trouble shooting) and then freeze the sily putty

First you need to get some supplies together: rubbing alcohol, a washcloth or cloth rag and a bucket with a light detergent solution.
Then you will want to dampen the cloth in rubbing alcohol and scrub the silly putty. The alcohol will cause the silly putty to free itself from the carpet. When the putty has been removed, clean the alcohol from the carpet with a liberal amount of the water and detergent solution. This will clean up any residue and prevent any staining from the alcohol.
Be prepared to use some elbow grease but it should come right up! Good luck!

WHEN AREA IS DRY, USE A BUTTER KNIFE TO SCRAPE OFF THE SILLY PUTTY. THEN VACCUM THE AREA. THIS SHOULD REMOVE THE SPOT. THEN CLEAN AREA WITH A MILD DETERGENT AND LET AREA DRY.

I would try egg yolk or peanut butter…they are great for getting gum out of most things,,and silly putty is lots like that texture…after you get it out than wash with a regular detergent or woolite…GOOD LUCK!
