How Do I Lay Carpet Without A Kicker?
I need to lay 670 sq ft of carpet without a kicker is it possible?

You’ll just have to cut the carpet to fit the room without stretching. Normally you would cut the carpet a lillte small and “stretch” or “kick” the carpet to the tack strips.
One day you’ll have to rent a carpet stretcher and trim the carpet back, so “pay me now” or “pay me later”, it’s up to you.

I,ve actually done it,but you need a rubber pad or a pad that as a very smooth finish on top,if your
on plywood you stapple the pad to the plywood,not anymore than usual,then you will have to purchase a mutti-purpose carpet adhesive and glue the carpet to the pad with the proper notched spreader.
If your on concrete,you will have to glue the underpad as well.
You have to expect strong smells for a few days though.

i believe you can buy carpet that is suppose to stay in place but if nice expensive carpet i would hire pro

Sure it is possible. But how will you streatch the carpet? Rent a kicker.
