How To Remove Old Carpet Foam Stuck To Wooden Floorboards ?

I have just had a major declutter upstairs and am left with 2 quite large areas in 2 bedrooms that have had carpet down, the remains of the backing are firmly stuck to the wooden floorboards.
Does anyone have an easy way of getting this up so i can get some rugs down ?
Thanks.

If you’re leaving the boards exposed you will need to knock any nail heads down and then sand it. This will also get rid of any excess carpet backing.
You can hire industrial sanders from most DIY outlets.

scraper, then sand it. Lots of elbow grease.
