How Do You Get Silly String Out Of A Carpet Thats Been There For Months?
We are moving into a bank repot house and the previous owners sprayed silly string on the carpet and wall in the living room before they left months ago. Now we need to know how to get it out if thats possible. Any suggestions?

The Goo Gone is a good start, or try Krud Kutter which you can usually find at the home centers. After you have cleaned as much out of the carpet as possible, you will likely have to cut some of it out. Try shaving it carefully with a disposable razor. With the walls, use a dull blade, such as the non-cutting side of a butter knive to get under and scrape off the stuff.
