What Can I Put Under A Small Charcoal Grill To Keep The Heat From The Legs From Burning Carpet?

I am trying to use a charcoal grill with legs on a balcony that has a carpeted floor. What can I put underneath the grill that is fire proof that will not set my floor on fire or prevent the heat from reaching the carpet?

make that FOUR BLOCKS…. one is not big enuff to make one not worry about it getting knocked over and starting a fire…. whole apt buildings have burned down from folks using barbeques on baconies…. you’d best be sure your building hasn’t a law against their use, too!…..

Put plates, or hot plates, just make sure that when you use a charcoal grill indoors to close all the windows, it helps give your food a nice smokey flavor.
