How To Remove Activated Charcoal From Beige Carpet?
My dog was recently given activated charcoal at the vet. However, upon returning home she vomited activated charcoal all over my beige carpet. I soaked up and treated what I could but there is still a large black stain. I have tried almost all of the over-the-counter carpet treatments. Does anyone know of anything that might get the stain out?

Carpet
1. Sprinkle baking soda, cornstarch, or other absorbent on the stain. Let stand at least one hour, and then vacuum.
2. Using a clean white cloth, sponge the stain with a dry-cleaning solvent.
3. Blot until the solvent is absorbed.
4. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until the stain disappears.
OR
1. Mix one tablespoon of liquid hand dishwashing detergent with two cups of warm water.
2. Using a clean white cloth, sponge the stain with the detergent solution.
3. Blot until the liquid is absorbed.
4. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until the stain disappears.
5. Sponge with cold water and blot dry.http://www.goodhousekeeping.com/home/sta…

There are 2 things you can do:
1. Clean with Windex and paper towels. Windex removes most stains from carpets.
If the Windex leaves a blue “shadow” behind, that can be removed with plain water.
2. Shaving Cream.
This sounds strange but it works.
Dampen the stains with water. Scrub in some Shaving Cream…any brand is fine as long as it’s white shaving cream.. Then clean with damp cloths until the stains are gone.
Shaving cream is nothing but whipped soap that doesn’t suds much. It removes most stains like magic.
