Allow the paint to dry, scrape up as much as you can with a plastic butter knife & vaccuum it up then take tide detergent, mix a small ammount of tide detergent with the same ammount of water pour a small ammount on the stain rub with a wash rag, rinse the wash rag in a mop bucket of clean water and continue rinsing untill the spot stops foaming. that should do the trick, this also works for pet stains & potty training accidents. Next time you daughter gets the artistic inclination over carpet, lie a tarp or old shower curtain down to protect it

You could try scrubbing it with a cloth covered with soap and water.

Painters wipes (they come in a round container and look like baby wipes, Lowe’s brand is called Oops Wipes) do a good job removing paint without discoloring carpet. Especially washable paint like that. May take some elbow grease, but if you’re patient, you’ll be able to get most of it out. It dissolves the paint.

you said washable right? And by the way, the 60’s called and they want their shag carpet right away!
But seriously folks, go to costco or sams club, or other large box store and buy a container of ‘Resolve’ follow the label directions and you will successfully remove the stain for about 6 bucks

WOOLITE carpet spray or FORMULA 409 ALL PURPOSE CLEANER also RESOLVE will even probably do the trick!

ignore the other answers..
The best thing to use is
PEROXIDE..
it will come right up, but clean it with a white cloth or white sock, and change the sock or cloth to not restain the carpet.
