I Need My Rugs In House Cleaned. Who Is Best To Call – What Steam Cleaner Is Best?
I’ve never had our rugs steam cleaned before. Just want to know what to look out for – what to get & what not to get. My dog maybe allergic to a spot stain remover that I used in rug several times. I want to get carpet cleaned for that reason.

First, what type of rug do you have? This must be determined before the cleaning process can begin. There are different types of cleaning methods for natural and synthetic rug types. Most can be cleaned, but be careful to choose a company that understands the complete process. There is a tag on the back of the rug with details about the type of cleaning for that rug. Steam cleaning works well, but it depends on the type of rug being cleaned. There are some rugs that cannot be steam cleaned. There are also companies that will pick-up and submerge the rug in a oxygenated rug cleaning tank. This process also works very well, but is more expensive. So, there are several options to choose from and both work well. Be sure to ask if the rug cleaning is warrantied. If not, go somewhere else. Overall, choose a company that explains their process thoroughly over the phone or in person. You can also check with the BBB to see their rating. Hope this helps.
