		<description>When making a closet bigger, you could probably just cut the carpet and the padding where the door will be.  I would suggest a lament flooring in the closet.  Then when you are wanting to renovate the rest of the room you don&#039;t have to worry about having to redo the closet.  
That is what I did when I renovated my place.  It&#039;s beautiful, and in the future, when I want to take out the carpet in the rest of the room, I don&#039;t have to worry about doing the closet.

When it comes time to replace the carpet, just run a blade along the trim, cutting away the old carpet.
Don&#039;t worry about the old carpet and pad left trapped below the new wall.</description>
