Is That Good To Lay Over The Vinyl Sheet On The Existing Carpet Without Using Adhesive, What’s The Best Way ?
I want to prevent my kids from the carpet dust by laying the vinyl sheet over the carpet. As i am renting unit i don’t want to fix the vinyl sheet with the carpet to prevent the carpet from damage, what is the best way to do so ?
Also, where could i find “Cheap” Vinyl flooring in Sydney ? Thanks to all of you in advance for your help.

That will not work at all.
You might try vacuuming the carpet to get the dust off. Putting vinyl flooring over carpet is impossible.

Theres no good way of fixing, sticking the vinyl to the carpet
Vacuum is the go and regularly, children are resilient and they would not receive copious amounts of dust if it is vacuumed often
If you wanted to source cheap vinyl I would be looking at recycling places, regards joe

Protect your carpet with bound area rugs, runners or remnants from your local carpet store. Use a rug pad underneath to protect the carpet from the backing on the remnant or area rug. Do not use the vinyl.
