How Do I Dry Out Auto Carpet In A Flooded Car?
I just bought a car that has had water damage to it. I need to thouroughly dry out the carpet and then treat it so that mold doesn’t grow and it doesn’t smell.

Get a wet dry vac and suck it all up, then let it air dry.

Hey there. Hopefully I can be of some help. First off I was told that if you run a dehumidifier in the car with all the doors closed it will draw some of the water from the material. Secondly, if you have experience with cars, the carpet could be removed (after removing seats, etc.) and dried with a heat lamp, or perhaps in the paint booth of a body shop, or in the sun. They also make some pretty good carpet cleaners. Talk to a proffesional car detailer for them. God Bless and Good Luck!
