Besides, thanks for naming Theater of Hate and Spear of Destiny. Two new ones to add to my list of band I want to get to learn deeper. Cool. I’ve tubed ‘em. Sound extremely exciting!

thanks for your kind comment…i have worked with theatre of hate and spear of destiny for many years, and have seen many different and wonderfull faces of german club/alternative music. one of which was an alternative night in berlin.where the entire club was dressed in period clothing circa 17th/18th centuary and were waltzing to the music wow unreal to witness, getting back to thread pretty sure we got a few joy division and we definatly got so young/tell me played sr…….

Yeah, it must have been a damn good evening! I like the formula “saved the DJ”. Hope he said thank you.
Don’t be too hard with german rock, though. Superpunk ist not bad at all, and Einstürzende Neubauten might be dark, but in certain moments they stand fpr wht they did.
Still, right now, I’d rather go for IC than EN.
    Thanks for your answer.

was once at the opening of an indie club in munich! before indie happend in europa, they were playing dark stuff bauhaus! iggy! and other non digestible music, luckily we saved the dj that night with a few cd,s outa the rucksack, one of which was the inspirals….he must of played this song on repeat all night…whilst the mancs took the club by storm……unforgetable song thankyou inspirals….
