Coombs House Inn (Apalachicola, FL)
The Coombs Inn, a romantic Bed and Breakfast in an elegant Victorian mansion, welcomes guests to experience historic charm in an intimate setting. The Inn consists of The Mansion and Veranda Suites (1905), and The Villa (1911). The Inns are filled with antiques, oil paintings and oriental carpets from all over the world. We have 13 decorative original fireplaces and 23 bathrooms. Our Inn is located in the heart of Apalachicola’s historical district, where the Apalachicola River and Bay converge – part of what is commonly called Florida’s Forgotten Coast.

I was married at the Episcopal church across the street. Our reception was at the Coombs Inn courtyard. Our honeymoon sweet was in the original master bedroom. Our guests stayed here for the weekend. Just beautiful for a destination wedding with St. George Island only a few miles away.
