What Is An Easy Way To Lay Carpet Without Hiring A Carpet Contractor?
I have padding and carpet for a bedroom. I want to lay it the right way. Is there an easy way to do this. I no I need to put tack carpet strips around the outside of the room. How do I get it to stay in place?

You also should use one of those things(I don’t know what they are called) but it sets on the edge of the carpet and you kick it with your knee. It stretches the carpet out so it doesn’t have bumps and hills in it.

The carpet is stapled onto the tack strips. You can rent a carpet stapler.
Work from the center of the room out.
