Is There Anyway Of Storing Used Throw Rugs So The Rubber Backing Stays In Good Condition?
When I have stored throw rugs in the past and then take those out to use again, the backing is hard and cracks. I have to throw them away. Any good ideas?

Keep them stored in a cool, dark, dry place. Also wrap them in plastic after they are rolled.

I used those air tight storage bags that you can suck the air out of with the vacuum cleaner. That keeps the garments or your rugs fresh and clean and the backing on them won’t crack because air can’t get to them. You can find them online or at Walgreens, Walmart.
