What Cleans Dog Urine Out Of Carpet Best?

I am going through puppy training with my dog and it has had several accidents on the carpet. What cleans dog urine out of the carpet best. I am mostly concerned with the odor, I want it out!

I am experiencing the same thing right now w/ TWO puppies, so can help, I hope. Everyone who said ‘an enzyme based product like Natures Miracle’ is on the right track. Basically you soak the area w/ the stuff and let it air dry. the enzymes soak up the smell and remove the urine. (you are supposed to get as much of the urine out of the carpet as possible first)
What I do is clean the carpet w/ my carpet cleaner (using the special pet odor formula), then go back and hit any of the still stinky areas w/ the natures miracle and let it dry.
Do not. I repeat DO NOT use any ammonia based products such as Windex, because it only leaves behind a ‘urine like’ odor that will call your dogs nose and make it want to pee there again.
    hope this helps

Nature’s Miracle is great – they have a new orange scent I love. You do need to follow the directions exactly, though.
It’s a bit pricy but worth it. Don’t even think of buying the junk in grocery stores, especially all the fake “oxy” products. The genuine oxy stuff isn’t bad, either, but check the label. If it doesn’t say Littleton, CO it’s an imitation, not the real thing.

try resolve then later spray white vinager mixed with water on it. that should stop her from peeing in that same spot until the smell goes away and then will pee there again. I did my hole house with it and my dog stopped

I keep my steam clean always ready with Mean Green and water. As soon as I see it I use the steam cleamer on it. It works good on my carpet.

Use a product that breaks down the enzymes, like Natures Miracle.
I’m also a firm believer that anyone with a puppy should own a Bissel Spot Bot. They make a special “Pet” formula for it – You set it down on the spot, push a button and it does all the scrubbing / sucks up all the liquid for you.
