Is There Anyway To Remove The Dents In A Carpet Made By Furniture Legs?
Probably not, but if theres a way, I know someone here would know about it.
Im renting, and my chair made 4 deep dents in the carpet, is there anyway to remove them? The last place I lived had different carpet and with enough vacuuming, they came up. This is a different carpet (not sure what kind) an Ive vacuumed over them a few times, and no luck.
Any suggestions?

I believe that you can lessen the “dents” by using one of the small steamers that are available quite cheaply ( not a wallpaper stripper, but those with a small nozzle). Test on a small unobtrusive area first.

Depends on the type of weave the carpet has.; if it’s a shag or short shag weave, you can drag a fork over the flat area to bring the nap(yarn ends) up. But it might not work on the indoor-outdoor type carpet because those are short loops woven into the carpet.

Place a few ice cubes in each dent and let melt…then vacuum. Works like a charm.
