Try some light blue throw cushions for the couch. And/or drape a light blue afghan over the couch. You could also get some light blue gauze curtains. Mount these over the glass to diffuse the light. An area rug with those two colours in it would tie it all together but don't worry about covering up a lot of the blue. The frames are easy to deal with. You can paint them.
