How Do You Get Ink Out Of Beige Carpet?
My dog chewed a pen and now there is black ink soaked into my beige carpet. Is there anything that can get this stain out? It’s set for a while too. I’ve tried a carpet shampooer and some typical products.

Try some rubbing alcohol…

Rubbing alcohol will take it off. Be very careful using hairspray because the new ones with body building, volumizing, shine and other silicone additives can not only leave a dirt attracting residue, but they seal in the ink.
To use the alcohol effectively, pour some over the stain. Let it soak into the padding for a moment. Place a terry towel over the stain and using your full body weight hop on the stain drawing the ink into the towel. (You can also use a wet/dry vac to suck it up). Keep changing the towel to clean areas as it becomes saturated with ink so you do not transfer it back into the carpeting and keep adding more alcohol until the ink is completely gone.
There is also a great product that works instantly, called InkAway by GooBeGone that you can find at discounters, some drug stores and home improvement centers.

wet the stains with hair spray the rub with bar soap lots of people forget the soap part. Then it has to be rinced with cold water. Then take old white towels and soak it up

I have always used rubbing alcohol to remove ink. Take the corner of a sponge and dip it in water, then pour some alcohol on it. Bring paper towel to the spot, and apply the alcohol to the ink,and blot, with the sponge gently rub a little and then clean sponge and blot the stain with paper towel, do this until it is all gone. Then take dish washing detergent and clean the spot of the alcohol.

after all those other products I’m not sure if this will work or not but for future reference spray the stain with hairspray then wipe it with a clean cloth you probably will have to do this a few times. hairspray is the first and only thing I’ve ever needed for ink stains, it’s like magic.
