What Color Of Paint Would Go Best With My Carpet? The Carpet Is A Dark Burgundy And A Dark Green.?

Okay, my living room carpet is dark burgundy with a dark green outset. Do you think any color other then beige or white will go with it.

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the “painted” rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:http://www.sherwin.com/visualizer/
I think a sagey color like “green earth” (# 7748) would look stunning with that carpeting.

I was on the Sherwin William’s paint web site, trying to give you other options. This is my suggestion, if you don’t want to go with beige, taupe, tan etc. : One color I think will look nice and will coordinate is a color called “Pinkish”. It is not as you’d think with pink as the name. It is actually a creamy ivory with just a subtle hint of pink. Second option is a color called “Drop Leaf”. It is a light shade of sage which will also coordinate with burgundy and green. You can look at them for yourself by going to their website and clicking on “Color My World” which is the color visualizer. You can paint them on a wall and see what they look like. I hope this will be helpful to you. I want you to like spending time in your living room. Good luck!

My carpet is also burgundy, and I struggled with this, but I decided to go with Valspar Brushed Pearl, the shade I am gonna use is “simply elegant”., it’s a neutral tannish beige, but the paint has a sheen to it that is really beautiful. I plan on doing this asap, but with my schedule, it may not be until August. Good luck.
Oh by the way, the paint is carried at Lowes

I think a nice, sunset orange would go nice with it, since your carpet reminds me of nature. OR, you can go for a tigerlily red.

you could go with a pastel green, or you could wall paper with your main colors in the paper.

Any color should go with it. ….. except blue and yellow!
Tan, ivory, or a burgundy wall would be nice.
