The Carpet Smells Very Strongly Of Urine How Do I Get Rid Of It!?
its a new carpet so cant change it but my dog had diabetes and weed all over it before we realised! :S
HELP it makes me sick!

There is no better product for consumers than urine off

To get rid of it, start at one edge and pull the carpet up and take it outside, then keep doing it until all of the carpet and pad is removed. This must be done now or the urine will seep into the floor and then the floor must be replaced also. DO IT NOW.

They have certain shampoo for a carpet cleaner that gets urine out of the rug. If you can’t find that they also have sprays and powders to try and get the smell out. There are usalley animals on the bottles or cans. Or maybe try baking soda. Sprinkle it on your carpet and then vacum.

If nothing has worked, the urine is in the padding, and maybe even the flooring. You HAVE to remove the carpet and pad, seal the floor with an odorblocking primer, and recarpet.

I highly recommend cat spray and urine stain remover. We had this male cat that sprayed all over our front door and this was the only thing that worked. Here’s a picture of it:http://www.petsathome.com/find/category-…

there is a product called Natures Miracle. You can buy it at PetSmart. You’ll probably need to saturate it let it dry a couple of times, but it should work to get the smell out.

i have a similar issue. i did a little research and they make an enzyme product that you should be able to get at any pet store. my next stop is pet smart. that’s just what happens to be near my house.

Gte some urine gone, they sell it at Wal-Mart. Works really well, will have to spray it a few times.
