If your vacuum is powerful enough it’ll take the fibres off.

I do all the household cleaning around the house BUT, when this comes up, the kids get to get on their hands and knees with a hair brush and brush, empty the lint out and brush and empty the lint out and brush…. you get the idea. Luckily, I did have 5 kids at home and this got done in about an hour with all of them working. Now, I only have 2 at home, so it takes a little longer. They start in the living room and then go down the hall. They do their rooms once a week because HAIR on the floor can ruin a vacuum cleaners upright attachment!

Lowes or Home Depot sell rubber bristle brooms. They are relatively inexpensive and are great for getting fibres and hairs out of carpet of various kinds.
