How Do You Get Silly Putty Out Of Carpet?
I’ve picked it off the best I can, but there is still alot there. I’ve tried the ice thing and it just doesn’t work or perhaps I’m doing it wrong. Any advice? Unfortunatly, the silly putty is bright orange on our tan carpet. I really want it out. Thanks.

1. get an iron (turn off the steam part, make it as hot as you can without the steam.)
2. put a few paper towels over the spot.
3. put the hot iron over the paper towels that is over the spot.
(the iron will melt the putty and the paper towels will soak it up.)
4. change the paper towel before the putty gets all over your iron.
5. repeat until the stain is gone.
(you can get wax out of the carpet this way too.)
