How Do You Get Mold Out Of Carpet With Out Bleaching Dark Carpet??
We had a leak in our back yard that we just found out about and now we found that behind our book shelf on the wall that had the leak that there was mold. We got everything out of there and now need to know what we can do to get rid of it?? It is on the carpet and wall. I figure we can bleach the wall but the carpet is brand new and dark color. we don’t want to ruin it if possible. Please advise of any good Ideas or experiences. Thank you.

That is what homeowners insurance is for. Replacing the carpet.

Try a laundry detergent with color safe bleach.

On the wall, paint the mold with Kilz. You can then paint over with whatever is currently on your walls. For the carpet, try any of the mold & mildew killers on the market. I’m not sure if they will change the carpet’s color, but you can check the label of the product and just make sure there’s no bleach in it before buying.
