Need To Pull Up A Section Of Carpet To Do Work Underneath. Anyone Have Tips On How To Lay It Back Down Tight?
I need to pull up a section of wall-to-wall carpet to put a layer of polly over some dog pee stains on the sub-floor and I’m looking for tips on how I can be sure to lay the carpet back down as tightly as it was when the installers put it in.

The Main Carpet On The Floor Is Starting To Buckle, How Do I Get The Carpet Back Flat Again?
I lived in this house fro three years ( it was new) and now the carpet on the floor is starting to buckle every where. What can I do to get the carpet to lay flat again?

Anyone Know The Name Of A Substance To Paint On The Back Of Rugs To Keep Them From Slipping?
I have tried pads, etc., but I found one thing that works to stop rugs from sliding it’s just that I need help to find it again. It’s a white substance that’s painted to the backside of the rug. The directions say to paint it on, leave it to dry and coat a second time within 12 hours. Problem is I tossed the jar not realizing how great it works. It’s a rubberized substance that has held my runner in place (hasn’t moved an inch in 2 weeks) on carpeted steps.
I have checked with Home Depot and a large crafts store but no luck. Also looked on-line but haven’t found anything close.

How Much Should It Cost To Tack 5 Areas Of Carpet Back Down After Hard Wood Floors Were Laid?
I had hard wood laid where there once was carpet. The installer pulled up the carpet but I need to have it tacked back down to the edges of the hard wood. 3 areas are door ways and 1 is about 4 feet.

How Do You Get Your Carpet Back To It Original Color?
I have a carpet run and under that is the original color. Everywhere else surrounding it is really dark. I want to remove the run but then it looks awful. Is there anything i can do to make it look better.

Any Home Remedies To Bring Back The Whiteness Of My Home Carpet That Carpet Cleaners And Sears Cant Seem 2 Do?
Wife wants to replace carpet with stimulus check if i cant find a way to bring back the life to our 15yo living room carpet! Ive had Sears come in and say because its an expensive carpet they cant get all the stains out and even the Ace hardware carpet cleaners dont do it! Any unorthdox suggestions on how i might clean and whiten the life back into this carpet?
