How Can You Install A Seam Binder On Carpet Laid On A Concrete Slab Foundation?
I have some damage at the seam in my bedroom doorway thanks to my cat. I need to fix it to get him to leave it alone. I thought I could just use those metal strips but the nails just go straight to the concrete and bend. Is there any other product I could use? Or something else that could be done (aside from replacing the carpet) to stop the unraveling and seal the seam to prevent further kitty damage? Thanks for any suggestions.

Is It Possible To Lay Carpet Padding And Carpet Over A Concrete Slab Floor?
I have a floor that needs to be carpeted. It is concrete on bottom with cheap carpet layed over that. I do not think I can pull the old carpet up because it appears to be glued down.
Would laying plywood sheets over the previously carpeted slab, then the padding and carpet work?

What Is The Easiest Way To Clean Carpet Glue From Concrete?
The indoor/outdoor carpet on my porch finally wore out, and I just had to tear it up (it was falling off on it’s own). But now I have all this old dried glue on my porch, and it looks like grinding it could take days! Any ideas? Any would be appreciated, thanks!

My landlord will not change the very old (before me) carpet and I’ve decided to just pull it out and paint or stain the concrete…what should I be prepared for and how should I go about it? The apartment was built in the 70’s.
