My Cat Thinks The Carpet In The Office Is His New Litter Box. How Do I Prevent Him From Peeing On It Again?
The cat closed the door to the room of his litterbox accidentally and we didn’t discover it until after he decided to use a magazine on the floor of the office as an alternate location.
I cleaned it up and luckily the urine had not really penetrated to the carpet. However, even though I couldn’t smell it, the cat could. The next day, he re-used the exact same spot, but peed directly on the carpet. Since then, we’ve shut the door so that he has no access to the room and I’ve bought this “natural” cat urine cleaner that seems to have taken out the smell and stain. I’m going to shampoo the carpet too.
I’d like to keep the office door open. My question is what can I do to prevent him from doing it again? The cat has never had an accident before and is in good health.

How Do You Remove Car Oil Stains From Carpet?
Some oil dripped out of a trash bag onto our carpet, and my mom is going ballistic. We tried using Resolve, and a lot of it, but it isn’t taking it out. I did hear that rubbing alcohol may take it out, but I want to make sure that the carpet is dry from the Resolve first so that there isn’t any chemical reaction of the alcohol and Resolve. Anyway, any help would be greatly apprecited!
