Fire At Airport Road Awafi Furniture Part 1
Scores of people were brought to the Abu Dhabi Social Support Centre of the Ministry of the Interior after they narrowly escaped a fire that almost gutted a eight-storeyed building. The fire completely destroyed 10 cars parked in front of the building along Airport Road. The incident happened at 3.15pm on Saturday. No one was reported seriously injured. But, first aid was given to many who suffered smoke inhalation. The victims, who were occupants of the 28 flats in the eight-storeyed building, were running towards the lone entrance and exit door of the building, without any belongings. Officials from the Police and the Ministry of the Interior distributed food, fruits and drinks to the victims. The police are still investigating the cause of the fire while the Civil Defence personnel continued their operation at the time of filing this report. Three Civil Defence divisions from Al Butina, Khalifa and Al Falah have responded to the call. The police cordoned off the area and closed the roads to the direction of Dubai where the fire broke out. The quick intervention of the Emergency Technical Rescue and the Emergency Public Safety Departments and the Civil Defence prevented the fire from totally razing the building to the ground and from escalating to an ADNOC petrol station located less than 100 metres from the building on fire. How To Keep Dog Off Of New Furniture And Rugs?
We have new furniture (leather) and new rugs (wool) in the two rooms by the front door. My dog goes ballistic when anyone comes to the door, jumped on the furniture to look out and acts all ferocious… We haven’t put down the rugs yet… we have hardwood floors… but I do know that when she has an accident, which is rare, but when she does… she goes straight for the throw rugs to do it on. I’m afraid she will do this again. Does anyone have any suggestions to help us keep the dog out of the front two rooms altogether? We bought something called Pet Zones… which delivers a small shock when you come close to it, but she has decided that the small shock is worth it and goes in there anyway. We don’t want to have to crate her when we’re gone, but maybe we’ll have to do that again. It’s just that she’s 5, and hasn’t been crated for years. Any ideas?
Also, if we lock her in the bathroom, she chews up the doors trying to get out…

Any Suggestions For Getting Rid Of Mites From Furniture And Carpet?
Does anyone have any suggestions for getting rid of mites from carpet and furniture? I don’t know what kind of mites they are, but I’ve noticed bites from them on both me and my caged pet rat (we just moved into a new place about a month ago). I bought a bunch of sprays and such, but I was wondering if anyone had anythnig that specifically worked for them? Thanks!

What Color Of Furniture Should I Put Together With Brown Carpet And Light Brown Wall/ceiling Paint?
The room I want to make already seems very dark with the brown on the ceiling and a darker brown carpet. I dont want to make it any darker! I would like to paint an accent wall and I would prefer not to put any light furniture in, since I have kids, and you know how that is.. Please give me your ideas!!
