How Do U Get Rid Of Carpet Grass?

Carpet grass has infiltrated my flower beds, how do I get rid of it w/o killing my plants?
Tried pulling it out, but it’s too evasive.

Can I Use Old Carpet To Suppress Weeds And Grass, Then Put Bark Or Slate Over It?

I want to section off my garden and have part of it covered in bark. At present it’s largely mud, thanks to my dogs having worn the grass down and a lot of appalling North East England weather.
Can I lay old carpet as a weed/grass suppressant and then lay the bark over the top. I know a plastic membrane is advised but I am on the worlds tightest budget!

How Do You Teach A Dog The Difference Between Carpet And Grass?

I have a 3 year old female cockapoo that is mostly housebroken. She will not pee inside the house, she waits to be taken outside but she will poo poo inside. However, she only poops on carpet, if there isn’t any carpet available, she will wait to go outside. Apparently she knows that what she is doing is bad because she runs from me afterward. So does anyone have any ideas about teaching her the difference between carpet and grass?
