How Can I Keep My Dogs From Laying On My Rugs?
I have a basset hound that is outdoors during the day, she insists on laying on the rug on my front porch. I’d like to find a home remedy to keep her off the rug. She is an older dog and is shedding. I have tried laying a “bed” for her around the corner but she insists on my rug. Does anyone know how I can keep her off this rug?

How To Keep A Rug Laying Flat On Carpet?
I have a large oriental rug that is on top of a wool berber carpet. I can’t get it to lay flat…it keeps bunching up. It wasn’t a problem at my old apartment where we had hardwood floors, but on carpet it keeps happening. Any tips?

How Long Should I Wait Before Laying Carpet After Painting Skirting Board?
I am currently re-decorating a room with no carpet. I have been told that after painting the skirting board, I must leave anywhere between 3 and 14 days (depending on the source) before laying carpet as, if the paint is still ’soft’, it can be easily chipped.
I would rather not wait 2 weeks if it is not necessary, however I don’t want to chip the skirting board. Does anybody have any idea as to how long I should leave the painted skirting boards before laying the carpet?
