www.gethappy.ca After watching a bunch of lame examples of so called professionals cleaning carpets, I present a video of how I feel is the best way to clean a carpet. Though this carpet required restorative cleaning (an extreme example), the same steps should be performed on every carpet….

Family of the Year – “Psyche or like Scope”: SXSW 2011 Showcasing Artist
Channeling Fleetwood Mac’s musical stylings with a hint of late-era Beatles, Family of the Year braid catchy melodies, stellar male/female vocals and personal folk tales to create some of the happiest and saddest music you’ve ever heard. The band’s classic musical style has been integrated with a modern fanbase that the band continues to create and release new music for. Family of the Year self-released their debut EP Where’s the Sun on their Washashore imprint in September 2009. The EP showcases a variety of Family’s music, and includes “Let’s Go Down,” “Castoff,” “Summer Girl,” “What a Surprise,” and “Psyche or Like Scope.” Where’s the Sun is available for digital download at FamilyoftheYear.net for an optional donation. Contributions went directly toward the release of the band’s debut full-length album and continue to fund their collective life on the road. In October, Family was handpicked out of 700 artists by Ben Folds and Keith Lockhart to open for Ben and The Boston Pops at Symphony Hall. Shortly after, the band flew west for California shows with Bell X1 before returning east for the CMJ Music Marathon, marking Family Of The Year’s New York debut. SPIN.com selected the band as one 25 Must-Hear Artists from the 2009 CMJ Festival. In November, Family hit the road with Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros in support of Family’s debut album, Songbook, also available for optional donation. Let’s Play Silent Hill 2 – Pt 24 – You Can Check Out Anytime You Like, but You Can Never Leave
At long last, or at least, after a long boat ride, we’ve finally reached our ultimate destination! Lakeview Hotel is in sight! Could this at long last be the “special place” where Mary is waiting? At first it almost seems inviting, showing no sign of the decay and disrepair of the rest of the town. Carpets are nice, windows intact, just a lack of light… at least, at first… In Silent Hill, you just can’t have nice things…

Ever Since I Washed My Bath Rugs, They Stick To My Feet Like Velcro! What Made It Do This? Can It Be Fixed?
I had a heck of a time getting all the lint and rubber backing off the front of the rugs. Now every time I go to the bathroom, I have to bend down and pick up my rugs to put them back in the place because my socks move them! It’s like a velcro nightmare! They’re cheap rugs from the Family Dollar and I dont expect the best quality, but can they be fixed?

In Say, 1600 Or 1700. How Did Servants Clean The Rugs In The Czar’s Palace To Get Them To Look Like New?
I have a hard time with the rugs in my house using modern methods, I scrub alot of stains by hand and it really is alot of work. Then I steam vac it and let it dry or I have a service do it. But what about in the time of the czars. How did the servants get it clean, what materials did they use and what kind of cleaners? Did they get beheaded for doing a bad job? jk
