I had green bath rugs before but now I want something different. hmmm maybe dark brown because the truck of the palm tree is dark brown, or would burgundy go? I really want something bright.

I have been told that after painting the skirting board, I must leave anywhere between 3 and 14 days (depending on the source) before laying carpet as, if the paint is still ’soft’, it can be easily chipped.
I would rather not wait 2 weeks if it is not necessary, however I don’t want to chip the skirting board. Does anybody have any idea as to how long I should leave the painted skirting boards before laying the carpet?
