What Brand/type/grade Carpet Do You Recommend For Heavy Use In Living Room?
We aren’t trying to make a statement with the carpet, just want something basic. We will be living in the house a few years so it has to hold up. I can’t think of any obvious reason for lots of stains (like untrained pets in the house), but our mid-priced carpet looks worse from stains than from wear. No pets, babies, or special demands on the carpet. Recommendations of any sort appreciated.

How To Decorate Living Room With Green Carpet And Couches?
I moved into a house with plush green carpet and my couches are a darker green. The carpet was from the 90’s when hunter green and mauve was in.
How can I decorate it to make it look more modern? I was thinking jungle since there is so much green. LOL Please Help!

I’m Extending A Closet To A Walk-in. There Is Existing Carpet In The Room. What Is The Best Way To Build It?
The room is carpeted and i am looking for a smooth transition once i add a door. Probably adding a regular door on hinges. I’m building it by exending existing walls already carpeted up to. What is the best way to go about this without ripping up all the carpet. Can i build over existing carpet..frame it right over it?

How Much Would It Be To Have Carpet Installed In A Room That Is 11 By 9?
I’m just wondering how much it would cost to have your basic carpet installed in a room that is 11 by 9?Or if anyone can find a good web site to look up different carpets and amounts.I haven’t found one yet that has helped to much.Thank you to anyone that can help!

Do I Need Carpet In My Living Room?
I have pets. Is it okay to have a solid floor, like tile or terrazo, on my living room floor and just put a big rug on it instead of carpet? Do you thik that will hurt the resale value of the home?
