How Can I Stop My Cat Clawing The Carpet?
My cat has plenty of scratching poles and boards, which he uses as well. I do not want to have him declawed. And squirting him with water DOES NOT work.
My cat is a much loved pet but is totally destroying my carpet. Is there a remiedy of something I can place on the carpet? Help I need advice on what to do.
He is an inside cat, so I have tried clipping his nails, but that just seems to make him want to do it more – to sharpen his claws I assume.

How Do I Get A Cat To Stop Urinating In Carpet Area Of My Home?
My daughter’s stupid . . . er . . . lovely cat keeps peeing in the same area of our dining room carpet. COCHINO!!! As much as I’d like to beat the crap out of him for doing it, that would only worsen the problem with him releasing his business. He’s about 6 months old, he’s fixed, he’s an indoor car, he seems to be growing quickly, he eats about 3 times a day, and he seems to drink normally. We have one litter box upstairs, and we’ve gone through changes with the litter but he’s now back to the first litter he ever used and we still have this problem. Ocassionally he also poops in the same area, but that’s stopped for the most part. Please help. Thanks.

How Can I Get My Cat To Stop Scratching The Carpet?
I keep my bathroom and closet doors closed because I don’t want him to go in them, but he’s taken to scratching the carpet right in front of the doors! I bought this spray stuff called “scratch not” and it doesn’t seem to be doing a thing! Any other ideas?

How Can I Stop My Cat From Pulling Up The Carpet?
My cat has recently begun clawing up the carpet in my apartment. She claws at the carpet in corners and around the doors and the tacking strips (whatever they’re called) that transition the floor from carpet to linoleum. Any suggestions as to how to get her to stop? Or any home remedies that might work (the stuff you buy at pet stores doesn’t work)?
